When Kelud's Ashes Attacks Our Village...

7:42 PM

Haha, no, I live in a city, not village! I just want to make it more 'game'-ish or 'movie'-ish ヽ( ★ω★)ノ

Actually it was happen 1 month ago, when my examiner said she would go to Jakarta so she couldn't do exam on me. I was just did the exam with a resident the day before, and then the ashes came just exactly at the same day at when my examiner supposed to go to Jakarta via airplane, but canceled, because all the plane delayed that day, and I got myself to be examined again! Aaaaaa damn ashes...

When I woke up that day, and went outside, my backyard turned white Σ(゜ロ゜;)

What happened!?
Just exactly (again) at Valentine's day, suddenly the inactive Mountain Kelud, where it places on East Java, Indonesia, coughed and blew out ashes. And the ashes finally did come to my hometown, and made everything grey-ish. The ashes itself was lighter than regular dust, and when you exposed by the ashes, just for a while, your hair became rough.

Here's the outside of my house:

Ow yeah, feels like my country is now snowy ( TДT) with 'ash' snow ( TДT) no, it's not cool! How can I live with a rough hair and mask everywhere?! I don't want this... I want real snow!

This is my BF, while picked me up to hospital.

And this is me, being picked up. Using any protections.

We should wear mask, because the ashes light enough to get inside our lungs (maybe). However, it's bad for our lungs. I still don't know much, although I was in pulmonary stage that day. I read from my friend's FB that the ashes contains silicon and asbestos that hurt our lungs, make them burns, carcinogenic, or something lah. Maybe my friends know better than me, their exam had been canceled that day and the examiner prefer asked them to made about mountain's ashes paper.

In the end, the mountain's cough stopped there, thanks God Jesus Christ. Please pray for Indonesia so there's no more catastrophe.

For closing this post, I present to you, me as ninja-doctor:

Oh, there was Children With Cancer Day, so we wore gold ribbon. Pray for them, too!

Thank you for reading, God bless you! ♥

Review: Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream (and some grievance)

7:13 AM

Hello everyone,
Do you know about "snail facial"? It's facial with snail. A living snail!

Maybe you want to know, why would people do facial with the disgusting snails?
After researching, according to, it's a new facial technique from Japan. It's believed that snail mucus can prevents our skin from aging. It contains natural antibiotics and hyaluronic acid that hydrates the skin.

Okay, I don't wanna say anymore about the snail facial because that's not the main topic.

I don't want to try that snail facial right now, it's disgusting. However, even if I said I don't wanna, but I still can do the snail facial indirectly! How?! The answer is...

My Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream~
I got it from winning Chermaine Ho's giveaway which I posted here. So sorry guys, I don't have the price. I'm sure you can get it from online shop 。^‿^。
Ready for the review? Let's peel it ヽ(*⌒∇⌒*)ノ

Below you can see the ingredients list. It contains 74% snail secretion filtrate. Be happy guys, no parabens in it ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ
No fragrance too, I think it should be applicable for the sensitive skin ones.

Mizon is a product from Korea, so there's a segment with Korean hangeul. And I don't understand ✖‿✖

To the top side, I found a seal in top of the box, it guarantees that the product is genuine.

Okay, peel the box. Here's what I got. Pink Tube shape container, with a white snail picture just like on the box.

The back side, in hangeul again \(*T▽T*)/ however, I can say that it contains 45 ml creams, and will expire in 12 months after opening.

The white cap is opened with screwing mode and separated from the tube. the opening is sealed at first to protects the cream from the outside.

Let's open it and try! The cream has gel texture, semi-white transparent. I think it's more like a gel than a cream, but it said it's a gel cream. Okay, both are fusion!

Swatch-swatch time~!
Because of no fragrance in it, I just smell nothing, just a very soft natural gel cream's scent and disappear when I apply it.
It absorbs quickly, and doesn't leave sticky feeling. But I don't feel neither the hydrate nor the moist effect. My skin is normal to oily so I don't feel drying.

The effect looks like not as effective as the real snail facial one, I think...

I have fine lines in my smile line and below my eyes (fine lines in my age OMG). I applied Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream for about one month (the before photo was from January 29th, 2014 and the after was from February 25th, 2014).
I edited the photos so my lines would visible enough to see *even if my face become ugly (T▽T)*

As you can see, the fine lines wouldn't vanish at all~! Okay it may be anti-aging, but not aging-eraser (; ̄д ̄)if you know what I mean...

To the summaries, I just give it...
3/5 points!

♥ The main function as anti-aging seems doesn't change my face's skin at all.
♥ It's not very hydrating too, for dry skin, you should check for another review with dry skin.
♥ But it's parabens and fragrance free! Appreciate it a bunch (●´∀`)ノ♡
♥ Also love the quick-drying and non-sticky feeling. My face also smoother after applying this gel cream.
♥ Mizon Snail Recovery Gel Cream is my first cream that doesn't contain parabens and fragrance, or I should say this is the first Korean and foreign skincare product I used. Very happy to try an expensive products, though I'm kinda afraid if it runs out ヽ(゚Д゚)ノ

Have you ever try this product?

BTW, a little heart to heart chat,
I kinda busy busy here. So sorry if I lack of posts, it's so hard to maintain my time for everyday life, my homework, my study, my exam, and the most thing that made me rarely to update is the "a whole day - night shift", which means busy all day long from morning till the day after in the afternoon. Most of my spare time in night shift I use to sleep, otherwise we can lack of sleep due to the business that can happen every time, even at midnight or early morning.

My life's just like has an algorithm like this:

I envy to you all who not doing night shift aaa~

Sorry if my opening post always complaining about my life. So sorry. Actually from the start, it's not my choice of being a doctor so I'm still complaining ahaha. Please bear with it. It's just... 1 year more... ugh...

Well, my life still goes on and I still want to do many things, ganbatte Devi! 〆(・∀・@)
